SQ3R Techniques

1. Survey

2. Question

In this step, we make questions based on the topic. These questions help us focus on finding answers while reading.

3. Read

Now, read the text carefully to find answers to the questions. We should pay attention to important details and take notes.

Example: While reading about the skeletal system, find information about its structure and functions.

4. Recite

Recite means explaining or summarizing what we have read in our own words. We can do it orally or in writing.

Example: After reading, close the book and explain the main points in your own words.

5. Review

Review means going through the material again regularly. We can revise our notes, summaries, and important points.

Example: Before an exam, read your notes and important points again.
